The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one (1) year. Under direct supervision, performs skilled work associated with fabricating and installing street and traffic signs maintenance of pavement markings, and graffiti removal; and performs related duties as assigned.
Position Details:
This is a part-time, non-PERS eligible position. This position does not qualify for employer-paid benefits, paid time off, wage increases, or union representation. This position requires enrollment in the City's Alternate Retirement Systems (ARS). Work schedule will consist of an average of 19 hours/week. Hours per week may increase or decrease based on Department need. External candidates, probationary full-time, part-time, and temporary City of Henderson employees will start at the first step of the salary range. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from high school or the equivalent One (1) year of experience in sign making and installation, pavement marking installation, and/or graffiti abatement

An equivalent combination of related education, experience, and training may be considered Must possess and maintain a valid Nevada or "border state" driver's license, as defined by NRS 483 Must obtain and maintain an International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) Work Zone Temporary Traffic Control Technician Certificate within the first nine (9) months of hire and the Signs and Pavement Markings Technician Level I Certificate within eighteen (18) months of hire as a condition of continued employment Required Documents/Assessment Information
