Non-Exempt Job Description:
This role will assist with running overhead and underground cable, installing traffic signals, and conducting required maintenance.
Examples of Duties:
Inspects the working conditions of trucks. Assists with performance of preventative maintenance on all signals. Performs work from bucket truck or platform truck. Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1.5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Valid Driver's License Ability to obtain CDL permit within six months of employment and CDL license within one year of employment
Preferred Qualifications:
Class B license
Other Necessary Requirements:
May require evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. In the event of major storms or other emergency situations, this position may be subject to 24-hour shifts or any other emergency schedule that is necessary to meet the City's needs.
