• Groomer South Egremont, MA Apply Snowcat Operator/Groomer Catamount Ski Resort is seeking a dedicated and experienced Snowcat Operator/Groomer to join our mountain operations team for the winter season.

The ideal candidate is a safety-minded individual with a passion for creating exceptional ski conditions. This is a crucial role responsible for preparing our trails each night to ensure a high-quality, memorable experience for our guests every morning. Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment, specifically a snowcat, to groom and maintain ski trails to the highest standard.
• Move, flatten, compact, and till snow to create ideal surfaces.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and regular maintenance checks on equipment, including checking fluid levels, track tension, and other critical components.
• Document and report any mechanical or safety issues to the maintenance team.
• Operate other vehicles such as snowmobiles and UTVs as needed.
• Work collaboratively with other departments and communicate effectively via a two
• way radio.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 year\'s experience operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers or other diesel/hydraulic machinery.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a valid driver\'s license with no restrictions.
• Comfortable working in a small team and independently.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods.
• Punctual and reliable, with the ability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
