• Set up and operate punch presses and associated equipment to perform blanking, bending, and forming operations
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure precise part dimensions
• Measure finished components using shop math and precision gauges to verify strict tolerance specifications
• Maintain at least 80% production efficiency while logging quality inspection data and keeping work areas clean Requirements of the punch press operator:
• Minimum 1+ year of manufacturing experience with direct punch press or progressive die setup background
• Proven capability to interpret tight tolerances (e.g., +

•.005) and apply shop math during inspection

Basic computer proficiency for entering production logs and tracking job progress

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout the shift
