Job Description
About Us Tough Dumpsters was started in 2024 and is rapidly growing in the Charlotte, NC Metro area. Safety and customer service are our top priorities as our goal is to be the easiest waste management provider for customers work with. We do anything it takes to make sure our customers are getting on time service. We are looking for an experienced roll-off driver to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate hooklift trucks carrying dumpsters or compactors to Landfills and Transfer stations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Communicate with customers on job sites in a positive way.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a roll-off or hooklift truck driver.
- Valid Class A or B CDL
- Successfully pass pre employment drug screening
- Clean driving record
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance
- Ability to operate vehicles in a safe and efficient manner abiding all traffic laws
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed
- Communicate with dispatch and team members on coordinating routing and schedules.
- Keep record of deliveries, tonnage reports, and mileage.
- Safely secure and tarp loads to ensure safe transport.
