Shuttle Operator - Incline Village, NV $20-$24/HR DOE + Retail Sales Commission ! Job Overview Shuttle Operator and Shop Associate will oversee day-to-day check-in and transportation of guests and assist with facilitating activity operations. Shuttle Operator will be responsible for checking the schedule, corresponding to guests prior to their scheduled activity and assisting with outfitting guests upon arrival in preparation for their upcoming experience. Shuttle operator will be responsible for screening guests upon arrival, ensuring guests have completed liability waivers and have been properly outfitted prior to departure. Our Shuttle operator will be expected to communicate closely with reservation and activity team members to ensure a smooth and timely operation. Shuttle operator will be expected to transport guests to and from operating sites while providing entertaining and/or engaging conversation along the way. Shuttle Operator will be expected to adhere to general public and assist with our on-site activity team when necessary. Shuttle operators will be expected to abide by all Federal, State and Company Rules and Regulations and will be expected to notify management of any observations that may differ from normal day to day operations or training. Shuttle Operators will be expected to arrive to work on-site and conduct a thorough walk-around and daily maintenance check of vehicles to ensure safe and operable conditions. Shuttle Operator and Shop Associate will be expected to promptly report any damage or defects and complete or help team members complete incident reports as necessary. Shuttle operator will be based out of our Clearly Tahoe shop location and will be trained and expected to help fulfill Sales Associate job duties. Shuttle operators may be asked to assist with transporting staff, guests and equipment or supplies between operating locations and may be asked to run errands that require driving from time to time. Shuttle Operator and Shop Associate should have proficient kayaking/biking knowledge and skills and will act as support-staff to our on-site activities team. Shuttle Operator and Shop Associate will be responsible for facilitating day-to-day operations at our Clearly Tahoe shop. This position will involve maintaining a clean and presentable shop appearance, organizing products, ensuring proper displays, and checking that products are labeled and free of damage or defects. The Sales Associate will also communicate with pre-scheduled tour guests prior to arrival, facilitate check-in, and outfit guests upon arrival. Additional responsibilities include relaying information between various departments, coordinating shuttles for guided tours, answering phone calls, and managing occasional emails. About Company Clearly Tahoe is a full-service recreational company in the Lake Tahoe area that specializes in guided tours and rentals on both land and water. We currently feature guided tours from 5 different Lake Tahoe locations, operate 1 rental concession on Lake Tahoe and 2 adventure-themed retail shops in the Tahoe basin. In addition to our popular tours in completely transparent kayaks, Clearly Tahoe also offers on-site rentals from the Sand Harbor Nevada State Park, hiking, biking and snowshoe tours during the off-season. Our sister location based out of California offers 2 additional tour locations and guided excursions that depart from our 46-foot tri-toon, the Clearly Explorer. With a team of more than 60 employees, Clearly Tahoe offers a variety of both seasonal and year-round positions, in-house training, and growth opportunities. Work Environment Shuttle Operator will be based out of one of our Clearly Tahoe Shop locations and will assist with regular shop-related job duties by default. Our Shuttle Operator will be expected to work between various Clearly Tahoe operating locations and assist with additional tasks at those locations from time to time. Shuttle operator will be required to complete transportation-related duties independently but may be expected to work in a team environment for all other tasks and should be comfortable with both style of work. Regularly 2+ Years Customer Service Experience (Preferred) Primary Job Duties Shuttle Operator Job Duties Arrive to work on time as scheduled. Review weather and daily manifest report. Check for any operational updates. Communicate with guests prior to arrival. Help answer the phone and basic questions. Provide directions and assistance when necessary. Help with basic questions and recommendations. Screen guests upon arrival. Ensure all guests are paid up and all participants have competed liability waivers at the time of check-in. Safely transport guests, team members and/or equipment between operating locations as scheduled. Attach/detach and pull trailers as necessary. Assist with set-up and/or breakdown of equipment when possible/necessary. Help guide guests into/out of vessels and shuttles from time to time as necessary. Engage with guests during check-in, transport and farewell process. Communicate with various company departments to ensure activities run timely and without issue. Conduct routine safety and maintenance checks. Fuel up vehicles when necessary. Keep meticulous records of guest correspondence, loss, damage, observations and incidents. Help facilitate check-out process for guests. Ensure all guests have an enjoyable experience. Assist activities team on-site when necessary. Respond to emergencies by following Emergency Action Plan / protocol when necessary. Ensure any incidents are properly logged and reported. Help train other shuttle operators. Fulfill regular shop tasks by default. Run errands when necessary.

Shop Associate Duties:

Set up register for the day and communicate any needs or report irregularities to supervisor. Drive sales and complete sales transactions for any purchases, returns or exchanges in the shop. Greet and check in tour guests. Check to ensure that all tour guests have completed liability waivers. Communicate with shuttle operators and tour guides about the tour schedule and guest attendance. Complete daily report and make cash drops. Maintain a tidy shop and address any cleaning needs daily. Required License/Certifications Valid Drivers License CPR and First Aid Certification (preferred) CDL B (preferred)
