The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and hands-on experience specifically in rebuilding and repairing transmissions. Rebuild transmissions according to manufacturer specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as an ohmmeter to perform repairs. Conduct thorough testing of rebuilt transmissions to ensure proper functionality. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems. Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used. Skills Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to vehicle maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
