Smog Check Repair & General Service Technician About the Role We are looking for a reliable, self-sufficient Smog Repair Technician to join our team in Grass Valley, CA. This position is ideal for someone who holds an active California Smog Repair license and enjoys handling steady, straightforward general service work without being bogged down by major teardowns or heavy engine overhauls. You'll be responsible for running smog inspections and repairs, as well as working independently on routine vehicle maintenance. Shop tools are provided. Thursday:

8:00 AM•5:00

PM Friday:

8:00 AM•12:00 PM Weekends Off (Enjoy a 2.5-day weekend every week!) Key Responsibilities Perform official California smog inspections, diagnostics, and required smog repairs. Conduct oil changes and thorough multi-point safety inspections independently. Perform basic brake services (pads, rotors, routine maintenance). Perform tire rotations, battery replacements, and light general service. Document inspection findings clearly on repair orders. Qualifications & Requirements Active California Smog Check Repair License (Required). Proven experience in general automotive maintenance. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Compensation & Benefits Competitive Hourly Pay (based on experience).
