Small Arms Repairer Accent Controls Inc - 3.0 Fort Gordon, GA Job Details Full-time 7 hours ago Qualifications Engineering equipment malfunctions diagnostics Field engineering on-site equipment repair Weapon maintenance training Mid-level Machining repair techniques Safety standard operating procedures Full Job Description The non-exempt job classification is covered under The McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA) and the contract's collective bargaining agreement (CBA). Service employees are compensated per the prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits that are set by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Wage and Hour Division's WDs 29 CFR Part 541 and 29 CFR 4.163(f), unless otherwise modified by a CBA between labor and management. Job Summary Under general supervision, inspects, maintains and repairs all types of small arms up to and including 75MM M120 Salute Cannon. Determines general condition of the weapons, the nature of the malfunction, and repairs as required to ensure proper tolerances and function.
Essential Functions:
Performs direct support-level and general support-level field and shop maintenance on small arms weapons up to and including 75MM M120 salute cannon. Tests, recondition, troubleshoot and repair all assigned small arms including fully automatic machine guns and related equipment Uses technical manuals, parts lists, Modification Work Orders, Maintenance Bulletins, TACOM Messages etc. to determine trouble. Repairs or replaces defective parts as directed. Performs operational checks by using technical manuals and other applicable regulations. Coordinates with and advises lead repairer on maintenance status, equipment requirements, problem areas and corrective action.
Marginal Functions:
Performs other duties as assigned. Responsible for conforming to all safe work practices and procedures.
