Purpose & Scope of The Position:
To provide and/or improve Mill and Mine availability and capacity through technical application of predictive maintenance methods dedicated to preserve the Company's day-to-day asset reliability.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Follow safe work procedures and best practices. Learn & apply the principals of: Vibration Analysis Ultrasonic Testing Oil Analysis Infrared Thermography Equipment Failure Analysis Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) Help analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain critical pumping, lubrication, and hydraulic systems Willingness to perform other duties as necessary to ensure the success of KGHM.
Required Education, Work Experience & Training:
A valid Driver's License. High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Preferred Education, Work Experience & Training:
Two years of mill maintenance mechanical experience preferably in a processing plant with crushing, grinding (including SAG circuits), conveying, flotation, thickening, concentrate, and filtering unit operating environments.
Prior training with the following:
Vibration Analysis Ultrasonic Testing Oil Analysis Infrared Thermography Equipment Failure Analysis Certified Weld Inspector (CWI)
Technical Skills:
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Travel Requirements:
Regular travel for required training and certification.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
N/A Additional Requirements:
Successful completion of a pre-employment physical, including drug and alcohol testing. Ability to meet the required physical demands, including exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
