Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in vehicle maintenance, including the ability to diagnose and repair various automotive systems. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles, providing high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. Duties Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair issues related to powertrain systems, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrains. Conduct diesel engine repairs with precision and attention to detail. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to assist in troubleshooting complex issues. Provide accurate auto estimating for repairs needed on vehicles. Work with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) as required for modern vehicles. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Familiarity with diesel engine repair techniques is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical documents, and service manuals. Experience with auto estimating processes is a plus. Knowledge of ADAS technology is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. A valid driver's license is required.
