Job Description
The National Lime and Stone Company, a multi-plant natural resource company, has immediate full-time positions available at its NE Ohio Region distribution facilities. These associates would assist in unloading railcars. This is a physical job and requires a safe environment and teamwork with others. Successful applicants will have the following background and attributes:
- Ability to work 7 days a week during peak season if needed
- High school diploma/GED
- Valid driver's license
- Dependable transportation
- Must be able to travel regionally which includes Canton, Akron, Cleveland, Wooster, New Philadelphia and occasionally Erie, Coshocton and Cambridge
- Must be a team player
- Experience with outdoor conveyor systems helpful but not required
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Rail unloading experience
- Rail/locomotive knowledge helpful
- Positive attitude
- Enjoy working outdoors
- Good driving record and background check
- Must be flexible on schedule due to rail timelines that align with customer needs, which could require early mornings or late evenings along with weekends.
