Job Description

Ohio Valley Waste Service, Inc. is looking to hire a Preventative Maintenance Mechanic. Must be able to write legibly and complete vehicle maintenance forms. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Changing engine oil and filters
  • Greasing all joints including packer body
  • Check and fill all rearends and transmissions and inspect for leaks
  • Inspect and adjust brakes
  • Inspect air lines and hoses and check for air leaks
  • Inspect and replace tires as necessary
  • Inspect lighting, repair/replace as needed
  • Check all steering components
  • Other duties as assigned by Shop Manager
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must be dependable, self-motivated, a valid driver's license is required, candidate must provide their own approved work boots, and must also provide own tools.
