Prototype & Vehicle TestingLocation:

Dearborn, MI (Hybrid)We are seeking a motivated Powertrain Test Technician to support prototype builds, test vehicle operations, and powertrain system validation. This role plays a key part in ensuring engines, after-treatment systems, and vehicle platforms are properly built, tested, and maintained to meet performance and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Support test vehicle fleet operations, including maintenance, safety inspections, and instrumentation updatesCoordinate builds, installation, and maintenance of engine and after-treatment systemsWork with engineering teams to complete designs, drawings, and prototype ordersManage prototype procurement, including bill of materials, documentation, and supplier coordinationDiagnose test vehicle and engine issues, implement fixes, and minimize downtimePerform data collection and review test results using calibration toolsCreate custom wiring harnesses and support test cell setupTrack catalyst aging requests and coordinate testing processes

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred)3+ years of experience in engine or vehicle testing and developmentValid driver's licenseStrong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills:
