Rolling Stock Mechanic- Huge Opportunity for Career Growth Job Description We are seeking a skilled Rolling Stock Mechanic with expertise in electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience and the ability to perform corrective, preventive, and unscheduled maintenance on assigned vehicles. Responsibilities Perform maintenance, inspection, adjustments, testing, cleaning, lubrication, and proper maintenance on vehicles. Detect potential failures and malfunctions in PV electromechanical components and complete necessary repairs. Troubleshoot and resolve system and subsystem issues, supporting field technicians in fault diagnosis and correction. Maintain accurate records of track, equipment performance, and work accomplished using a computerized maintenance management system. Analyze log files to troubleshoot and provide corrective actions. Perform re-railing tasks and equipment maintenance as per training and qualifications. Drive trains and work vehicles as needed, responding to emergencies. Operate various maintenance equipment such as wheel turning machines and train lifts. Support spare parts management and the repair cycle. Prepare fleet performance maintenance technical reports. Conduct job hazard analysis and safety briefings. Complete operational, equipment failure, and safety reports. Participate in required training programs and comply with safety, operating, and first-aid procedures. Use electronic test equipment and specialized tools as required. Ensure execution and collection of maintenance records and support day-to-day performance monitoring. Ensure compliance with technical specifications and operational tolerances. Identify failure trends affecting fleet availability and perform simple failure analyses. Execute health check procedures before vehicles are put into service. Comply with all maintenance procedures and safety standards. Perform additional cross-functional duties on unrelated systems as per training and qualifications. Essential Skills Technical knowledge in electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment. Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in rail systems is advantageous. Why Work Here?
