Railserve is hiring dependable and safety-focused Transloaders in Columbia to support daily rail and material handling operations at an industrial facility. This is a full-time, outdoor, hands-on role critical to keeping railcars moving safely and efficiently while supporting customer production and transloading operations. Job Description In this role, you will support transloading operations and assist with the safe movement and placement of railcars throughout the facility. Employees work closely with operations personnel to ensure railcars are properly positioned, loaded, unloaded, inspected, and secured according to customer requirements and company procedures. This position involves working around railcars, locomotives, transfer equipment, and industrial machinery in an active outdoor environment. Daily responsibilities include handling hoses and valves, operating switches and trackside equipment, monitoring loading activities, and supporting rail operations as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable performing physical work in varying weather conditions. No prior rail experience is required, and Railserve provides training for motivated individuals looking to build a long-term career.
