RAIL CERTIFIED
Pool Equipment Repair Technician , you'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of pool equipment and systems. You'll work independently in the field, using your mechanical expertise and customer service skills to deliver high-quality repairs and build trust with our clients. Diagnose, repair, replace, and install pool equipment, including Pumps, filters, heaters, lights, automation systems, timers, plumbing, electrical components, and sanitation systems . Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding repair needs and solutions. Maintain accurate records of work performed using mobile apps and software. Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly. Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to ensure the timely completion of repairs . Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment. Uphold NPP's standards for safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction What You Bring Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and 3 years of verifiable driving history. Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle report. Must have Texas Residential Appliance Installer License Must have hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and installing pool equipment—pumps, heaters, and automation systems—including system setup, programming, and troubleshooting Ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively. Comfortable using mobile apps and learning new software. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally. Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. What to Expect on the Job Working in various weather conditions (sun, rain, heat) Driving a company vehicle between service locations Performing physical tasks like bending, kneeling, and climbing Safely handling hand and power tools, pool chemicals, and electrical components (training provided) Communicating directly with customers to explain repairs and provide service updates Using mobile apps and software to log work and stay connected with your team Managing your own schedule and working independently in the field Representing NPP with professionalism, safety, and a customer-first attitude We're committed to providing the tools, training, and support you need to stay safe and successful on the job. Work Environment & Physical Demands This role is field-based and requires regular exposure to outdoor conditions including heat, cold, dust, and humidity. You'll be walking, standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting throughout the day. Occasional office work may be required.

Noise level in office environment is generally quiet.
Outdoor Service Environment:
Position will be exposed to various work conditions, at a variety of client settings. Indoor conditions may have dust, heat, cold, noise, etc. Outdoor conditions may include exposure to the outdoor elements, seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations, freezing conditions, and hot conditions. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
Physical Requirements:
If performing office duties: Employee is required to sit, stand, hear, and use hands to operate all office equipment. Employee must view computer monitors for long periods of time. Vision requirements are close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Employee occasionally will be required to lift, generally no more than 25 pounds.
At client locations:
While performing the duties of the position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, climb, bend, kneel, reach with hands and arms, crouch, crawl, twist, push/pull, lift/carry on a regular basis up to 50 lbs. throughout the day, lift/carry occasionally lift up to 100lbs., hand, eye, and foot coordination. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The ability to swim as this position may work near swimming pools.
