For your initial job responsibilities, we will challenge you to: In the first 90 days, you will prevail over the following: Have a solid understanding of plan reading elevation sections, grading plans and structural details. Know and understand the services DC Inspections provides by going on site visits with a senior inspector for different types of inspection services (i.e. observe grading observations, compaction testing, pile driving inspections). Following the initial 90-day period: Demonstrate independence in performing welding inspections and reporting. Active pursuit of special inspector certifications and testing technician certifications. Effectively communicate with contractors, engineers, and clients in the field.
