Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver or Class B to join our transportation team. The Driver will be driving the company sweeper Truck, must pass a DOT Physical, drug Test and have a valid CDL or class B. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with traffic laws, vehicle codes, and transportation safety regulations. Follow emergency response procedures for transportation incidents and respond quickly to traffic changes or unexpected situations. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical safety and report any issues promptly. Keep accurate records of trips, incidents, and vehicle maintenance logs in writing along with logging the gas card info. Log your daily time sheet accurately describing where you sweep and the time frame you were at the location. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for bus driving and passenger transport. Knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle codes, transportation safety regulations, and emergency response procedures for transportation. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus. Ability to perform quick responses to traffic changes and emergency stop procedures confidently. Mechanical knowledge for vehicle inspections and troubleshooting is desirable.
