NSPIRE Inspector Capitol Management Consulting Services, Inc Baltimore, MD Job Details Contract $550 - $750 a day 21 hours ago Qualifications Inspection reporting and documentation High school diploma or GED Driver's License Driving Facility inspection Full Job Description Overview Capitol Management Consulting Services (CMCS) is looking for individuals in assisting our efforts supporting Housing & Urban Development (HUD) in conducting inspections for their NSPIRE program, as well as inspection opportunities conducting inspections for HUD commercial properties. This is a 1099, Independent Contractor opportunity.
Note:
This opportunity to conduct these inspections is dependent on passing a background check for a Public Trust. What We Offer Free training that is leveled to your prior experience. An opportunity to become involved in federal inspections. A dedicated team of schedulers and staff to assist you with any questions or concerns. Compensation $550 per inspection day within a 150 mile radius of your home. $750 per inspection day outside of a 150 mile radius. An additional $100 per inspection day bonus after your first 200 inspections. Responsibilities Conduct onsite inspections of HUD sponsored properties, ensuring affirmative habitability requirements. Accurately report any discrepancies using HUD's online portal. Communicate with CMCS staff for inspection scheduling, in addition to any required additional training. Minimum Qualifications Experience in housing inspections, construction, or similar trades. HS Diploma or equivalent. Active Driver's license. Ability to conduct a minimum of 200 inspections per year. Ability to clear a background check for a Public Trust. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience conducting inspections for HUD. Recognized Home Inspector's license.
