Compliance Underage Purchaser

ONLY Job Description Summary:

CES is looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals to perform non-confrontational compliance checks on local tobacco retailers to ensure the sale of tobacco products to Underage Purchasers is restricted. The inspection is used to establish a retailer's compliance with federal regulations. This work is conducted on a part-time, case-volume basis with flexibility relevant to the individual's schedule. Starting Pay $16.50-$18 MUST be located in Northern Maine Transportation provided

Duties/Responsibilities:

Identify and verify site address provided Provide non-confrontational checks on tobacco retailers to ensure the sale of tobacco products to Underage Purchasers is restricted Site inspections are coordinated with an experienced adult Compliance Inspectors with prior law enforcement related experience or employment with city/state government Purchaser will not deceive the retailer in any way Required qualifications/skills: Attention to detail Strict adherence to deadlines and privacy Able to communicate and plan inspection days with Inspector Must be 16-19 years old

Physical Requirements:

- Physically enter the premises of a tobacco retailer and attempt the purchase of a tobacco product

Underage Purchasers will not lie about their age or present photo identification Underage Purchasers will complete all required training sessions: initial training, annual refreshers, ad-hoc Must be able to undergo a background check meeting contract standards
