PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, restricted access points, and perimeter locations, with working conditions that may vary across the location. Monitor and report unusual activity, access concerns, hazards, and/or facility conditions to appropriate personnel in accordance with site-specific policies. Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with airport operations and/or emergency responders when appropriate. Help to deter unauthorized access and disruptive activity through a professional presence, observation, and timely reporting of security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
