Tier 1 | CAC required Summary Provides support to 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW) Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS) Marine Light Attack Helicopter (HMLAT)-303 Corrosion Control, Tool Room, and Organizational Level (O-Level) Maintenance on H-1 aircraft in accordance with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP), applicable technical data, and federal contract requirements. Mid-level aircraft mechanic supporting H-1 aircraft corrosion control operations. Essential Functions Performs aircraft maintenance functions of the Line, Corrosion Control, and Aircraft Organizational Level maintenance Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance support for assigned H-1 aircraft Performs aircraft Daily Turn Around Inspections Performs aircraft launch and recovery operations Performs inspection, disassembly, repair, servicing, TD compliance, modification, assembly, corrosion control, preservation/depreservation Maintain aircraft and aeronautical equipment to continuously support the assigned readiness posture outlined in in the activities plan and daily flight schedule Aircraft maintenance action documentation via logs, records, forms, and electronic means Troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft electrical and avionics on flight controls, pneumatic, hydraulic, and ventilation and heating systems. Use hand tools, power tools, machines, specific and general aviation test measurement and diagnostic equipment, and sets kits and outfits (SKO). Inspect, repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft components/subcomponents to include rigging of flight control. Read and interpret manufacturers' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. Confined space operations to include fuel cell entry Support Equipment (SE) operation and inspections Aircraft inspections Aircraft movement Support services General aircraft maintenance Technical Directive complianceand modifications Perform general housekeeping and organization of workstation(s), shop(s), maintenance facility to provide a clean, safe, and FOD free environment Perform shift work and/or overtime as required Perform phase, scheduled, unscheduled, periodic, and other hourly or calendar inspections. Requisition repair parts, materials, and consumable supplies through military supply system. Duties Perform complex aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repair, and modification Document maintenance actions in aircraft logs and approved maintenance systems Lead and provide technical guidance to lower-level mechanics Ensure compliance with Tool Control, FOD, safety, and quality programs Perform Launch and Recovery Operations Perform and inspect airframe, flight control, hydraulic, pneumatic, and landing gear systems Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and directives Troubleshoot and repair aircraft avionics systems Document maintenance actions per NAMP requirements Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Five or more years' H-1 rotary wing experience preferred Seven or more years' rotary wing maintenance experience preferred Familiarity and ability to use

required Three years aviation maintenance experience required Must be able to work shift schedules as required per Performance Work Statement (PWS) Must be able work work-week schedules i.e. M-F, Sn-Th or as required per PWS Must be able to pass a background check Physical Requirements Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing and walking for extended periods, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined or elevated spaces. Requires sufficient manual dexterity and vision to use tools and inspect aircraft systems. Must be able to work in high-noise environments, wear required PPE, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Compensation $43.57/hour + $6.25
