A Transportation Traffic Controller monitors vehicle movement at airports, seaports, rail yards and stations, and large distribution centers. Monitors the takeoff and landing routes and schedules for airplanes at a commercial airport or military airbase. Coordinates the movement of large merchant vessels or cruise ships in and out of port.
Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (4x10 schedule) with overtime available on Fridays. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Line Inspector to inspect precision-machined metal and plastic components for the aerospace, defense, and commercial industries. This position is responsible for performing first article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards. Qualifications & Responsibilities 3-5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment. Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of precision-machined parts. Conduct visual inspections to identify defects and non-conforming products. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and shop travelers. Review processing certifications, including heat treat, anodizing, plating, passivation, and other special processes. Complete inspection documentation and maintain accurate quality records. Perform Davenport line inspections. Use precision measuring equipment, including optical/video comparators, surface plates, height gages, micrometers, calipers, plug and ring thread gages, and pin gages. Perform basic calibration of inspection equipment. Experience inspecting precision-machined metal or plastic components. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently. 9001, AMS, and MIL standards is preferred.
