Job Description

Position Title :
Port Dispatcher General Responsibilities :
 Coordinate container pick-up and return appointments at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach  Dispatch and manage daily schedules for port drivers and owner-operators.  Secure terminal appointments through eModal, Voyager, and other port systems.  Monitor chassis availability, empty container returns, and terminal requirements.  Communicate with terminals, drivers, customers, and warehouse personnel to ensure timely cargo movement.  Resolve operational issues related to port congestion, appointment changes, and equipment shortages.
Qualifications:
 Minimum 2 years of drayage or port dispatch experience.  Familiarity with LA/LB port operations and terminal systems.  Bilingual in Korean and English preferred.  Experience with TMS (Transportation Management Systems) is a plus.  Strong organizational and multitasking skills. ※ Only applicants who are legally permitted to work in the U.S. and possess professional fluency in both Korean and English will be considered.
