Approves leave; prepares schedules for completion of work; assigns work to subordines based on priorities; evalues work performance of subordines ensuring equity of performance standards and rings; gives advice on work and on administrive mters; makes decisions on work problems presented by subordines; hears and resolves group grievances and serious employee complaints; effects disciplinary actions; recommends/approves selections and transfers; recommends awards or bonuses; approves expenses for overtime, equipment, and personnel within the facility; and identifies and arranges for developmental and other training needs of subordines. Communices and reinforces team and individual responsibility and professionalism in all areas of responsibility, including selections, training, and transfers. Participes in the labor-management partnership process and fosters a work environment where all employees are treed in a fair and equitable manner.
