We are currently looking for an experienced quality control inspector.
Essential Functions:
  • Perform visual and mechanical inspections using measurement and test equipment such as: CMM, micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, optical comparator, bore gages etc.
  • Conduct calibration on measuring equipment.
  • Perform in process and final inspections as required.
  • Perform First Article Inspections and Production Lot Testing.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and good housekeeping practices
  • Manufacturing experience in the use of quality measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, bore gauges).
Qualifications:
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, inspection plans, engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and good housekeeping practices.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    Able to setup necessary quality tools as it relates to this position i.e. Setup of bore gauges and Indicators. Must be able to perform all physical requirements as it relates to this position as outline in the Functional job description.
  • knowledge of basic safety awareness in the workplace.
Able to lift and transport up to 35 pounds. Able to communicate effectively, and work well with others. Proficient with MS Word, etc.
Required experience:
  • Previous QC and QA experience in the aerospace industry
  • Manufacturing experience in the use of quality measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, bore gauges).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, inspection plans, engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Eligible for benefits after 90 day trial period.
