Full-time Mon-Fri 6 am to 2:30 pmPay:
$32-35/hr About the Role The Aerospace Quality Inspector ensures aviation articles meet manufacturer and operator specifications, including dimensions, condition, operational limits, and compliance with the company Quality Management System. The Aerospace Quality Inspector is responsible for maintaining adherence to FAA regulations and ensuring all work meets airworthiness standards. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed inspections to assess product airworthiness Interpret engineering drawings, technical data, FAA regulations, and manuals Use precision measuring instruments to verify tolerances and dimensions Conduct in-process inspections and final inspections Review traceability documentation and identify unapproved parts Document discrepancies and communicate findings to internal teams Maintain accurate inspection and maintenance records Audit documentation prior to return-to-service approval Enter inspection data into electronic systems Ensure compliance with 14 CFR Part 145 and Part 21 regulations Collaborate with technicians, leadership, and planning teams Support and mentor junior inspectors as needed Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) or Powerplant certification required Minimum 18 months of inspection experience At least 5 years of experience in a Repair Station or aviation maintenance environment Strong knowledge of airworthiness and return-to-service procedures Experience with aircraft emergency equipment is a plus Skills Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively Proficient in shop math and measurement tools Knowledge of aerodynamics, hydraulics, electrical, and pneumatic systems Basic computer skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and move as needed for inspections Work Environment Exposure to loud environments and industrial settings Use of PPE required Exposure to chemicals and cleaning agents Additional Information Travel may be required based on operational needs Must be fluent in English (bilingual English/Spanish preferred) If you are a detail-oriented Aerospace Quality Inspector ready to contribute to a high-quality aviation operation, apply today and take the next step in your career as an Aerospace Quality Inspector. #AerospaceQualityInspector #QualityInspector #AviationJobs #FAA #APMechanic #AviationCareers #NowHiring #AerospaceJobs #QualityControl #InspectionJobs #AircraftMaintenance #HiringNow #Tech1Pay:
