Advanced MOT Level II Certified Professional Location:
Tampa, FL Job Type:
Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an Advanced MOT Certified Professional (FDOT Temporary Traffic Control - Advanced) to join our team. This role is responsible for planning, designing, implementing, inspecting, and supervising traffic control in work zones on the Florida state highway system. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of FDOT standards, work zone safety, and traffic control procedures. Responsibilities Develop and implement Work Zone Traffic Control Plans (TMPs). Supervise the placement, maintenance, and removal of traffic control devices, including barriers and crash cushions. Inspect traffic control devices to ensure proper function and compliance with FDOT and MUTCD standards. Provide training and oversight for flaggers and other field personnel. Ensure safety compliance and efficient traffic flow in and around work zones. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and inspectors on work zone operations. •

•Qualifications Valid Advanced MOT II (FDOT TTC Advanced) Certification - required. Strong knowledge of FDOT standards and MUTCD guidelines. Experience in traffic control planning, supervision, or inspection. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced construction environment. Certification valid within the 4-year period, or ability to renew via refresher course.
