Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Truck Scale Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately weighing truck loads of materials, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in gravel pit operations and a strong understanding of truck scale operation and procedures. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be essential for success in this position. Responsibilities Operate truck scale equipment to weigh incoming empty trucks and outgoing loaded trucks accurately. Utilize scale specific software to track individual truck loads of gravel. Assist with up keep and maitence of scales and cleanliness of scalehouse. Perform visual load inspection of product for proper identification of material being shipped. Maintain accurate records of weights, quantities, and material. Collaborate with main office staff to optimize information transfers and accurate reord keeping. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Be dependable Show up for your shift ready to work. Be teachable Requirements Previous gravel pit experience is preferred, but will train the right candidate Familiarity with gravel trucks, axle wieghts, and gravel material. Basic math skills for accurate weight calculations and record keeping. Ability to operate truck scales proficiently Be dependable, work scheduled shifts. Good computer skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
