$50,000 - $61,000 The Automotive Service Instructor plays a key role in preparing students for successful careers in the automotive and collision repair industries through hands-on, industry-focused instruction. This position delivers engaging classroom and shop-based learning experiences in automotive diagnostics, repair, maintenance, and emerging vehicle technologies while fostering a safety-first, student-centered environment. Faculty members mentor and advise students, collaborate on curriculum development, and help ensure programs remain aligned with current industry standards and workforce demands. Instructors are expected to bring real-world automotive expertise into the lab, support student achievement, and contribute to the continued growth and excellence of CWI's Automotive Service and Collision Repair programs. Deliver High-Quality Automotive & Collision Repair Instruction + Teach automotive and collision repair courses using hands-on, industry-relevant training methods in both classroom and shop environments. + Develop engaging instructional materials focused on diagnostics, repair procedures, vehicle systems, safety standards, and emerging automotive technologies. + Assess student performance and provide timely feedback to support technical skill development and career readiness. + Maintain a safe, organized, and professional shop environment that reflects current automotive industry practices. Advance Curriculum & Program Excellence + Continuously improve curriculum, lab activities, and instructional delivery to align with ASE standards and evolving automotive industry trends. + Assist with course and program revisions to ensure students gain practical, workforce-ready skills. + Incorporate inclusive, student-centered teaching strategies that supportJob Posting:
