Job Description:

Snelling has an immediate opening for a Truck Gate Attendant in Louisville, KY. This position will be responsible for all facility security. The Truck Gate Attendant should be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude.

Job duties include:

Inspect incoming and outgoing vehicles for proper load content. Verify BOLs Log incoming and outgoing deliveries. Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions, and provide information during non-business hours or when switchboard is closed. Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employee, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of building. Patrol industrial premises to prevent and detect signs of Intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, or machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
