Location:
George Bush Intercontinental Airport Reports to: Site Shift Supervisor Primary Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trains using a computerbased control system, in accordance with all applicable system rules, procedures, and operational standards.
Core duties include:
Train Operations Monitor and control all automatic and manual train movements throughout the PHX Sky Train system. Ensure safe and efficient operations in alignment with system performance standards. Guideway & Yard Movements Monitor and control guideway and yard movements for maintainers performing inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs. Coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure safety during all field activities. Communications & System Monitoring Utilize radio communication systems, monitor CCTV feeds, dispatch trains for passenger service, track alarms, and manage all functions affecting Sky Train operations. Respond promptly and appropriately to system alerts, failures, or abnormal conditions. Power Rail and Safety Procedures Safely energize and deenergize the highvoltage electrical power rail. Apply foundational Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure maintenance team safety. Documentation Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation of all operational activities using shift logbooks and passdown reports. Ensure all operational records meet audit and compliance standards. Health, Safety, & Environmental Compliance Follow all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures to support a safe work environment for employees, customers, and visitors. Certification & Qualification Maintenance Maintain all required certifications, qualifications, and ongoing training necessary for Central Control Operations.

Discipline:
Initiative-taker, ability to manage time without supervision. Intermediate level of knowledge of computer-driven software applications Requirements High School diploma or GED equivalent. Proficient in the English Language. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to work various shifts (24hr Work Environment). Obtain and maintain certifications in compliance with all state and federal regulations applicable to this position. Airport requirement must pass FAA background and security check to obtain SIDA access badge. This position is considered "safety sensitive" and is subject to alcohol and drug testing under Federal regulations. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and listen. Observe multiple screens and monitors on a continuous basis. Works variable hours and shifts. Must be able to stay awake and alert during system down time. You don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
