Job Description:
Summary:
The contractor shall provide traffic control personnel to safely direct pedestrians and vehicular traffic.Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform visitor traffic control at various positions throughout ANC at all times during ANC's hours of operation. These positions should not be self-breaking; therefore, contractor personnel performing traffic control services shall always remain at their designated area of responsibility until relieved by other visitors' traffic control personnel. Provide brief information or directions so that it does not cause traffic delays or create unnecessary public safety risks.Requirements:
Traffic control personnel shall, at a minimum, possess a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of work experience involving vehicle/pedestrian traffic operations. Equivalent work experience includes, but is not limited to, controlling crosswalks, controlling intersections, and ensuring the safe flow of vehicles and pedestrians within the same space. Must understand safety considerations for both vehicle and pedestrian traffic.Security Requirements:
