Service Porter - JLR Carlsbad, CA 92008 Apply Overview Salary Range $18.00 - $18.00 Hourly Apply Description SUMMARY Moves and cleans vehicles, keeps the service department clean and all the vehicles in order, and helps Service Writers as requested.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Keeps the lot neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the management and in accordance with dealership display standards. Washes, Vacuums, and sanitizes vehicles. Performs vehicle checks. Ensures vehicles are always ready to be driven and viewed by clients per dealership standards Verifies receipt of and performs a damage inspection on vehicles delivered to the dealership. Helps the Service Manager and General Manager as requested to. Assists in various facility maintenance and cleaning activities. Drives vehicles as needed and directed. Acknowledges visitors with a smile and greeting, and directs them to necessary dealership personnel. Pay for this position starts at $18.00 per hour Why Hoehn Motors? In 1970 he sold the dealerships and retired to La Jolla. His timing was serendipitous, as 1975 saw the end of a recession and the rapid economic and population growth of North County, as well as the surge in popularity of Honda and Mercedes-Benz in the U. S. marketplace. Mr. Hoehn was quickly joined by his sons, Bill and Bob, who continue to oversee the day-to-day operations of the business alongside their children- Ted, Adrienne, Jo Hannah and Susanah. No prior experience or training. High school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
