Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and customer-focused Valet Supervisor to join our team at Douglas Parking at City of Hope Lennar Foundation Cancer Center. The Valet Supervisor oversees valet attendants and other staff that perform valet services. The Supervisor creates and coordinate work schedules, assigns posting positions, record guest requests for valet service and train subordinates on venue features and services. Other duties include ensuring the lobby, entrance and valet stall areas are clean and presentable; collecting and submitting cashier reports; and ensuring that valet equipment and supplies are ample and working properly. Knowledge of entire Operations including opening and closing shifts, along with knowledge of the garage layout, amenities, and occupancy. Responsible for sound financial operations and procedures to maintain and increase revenues and minimize expenses of normal operations to maximize the bottom line and operate at peak efficiency. Effectively reports to higher-level managers of any issues, suggestions, and problem solutions. This role ensures efficient and customer-friendly parking services, maintains safety standards, and manages a team of parking attendants/valet attendants and support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests promptly and professionally as they arrive at the location. Park and retrieve vehicles in a safe and timely manner. Ensure all vehicles are parked securely and without damage. Provide directions and general information to guests as needed. Maintain a positive, friendly, and professional attitude at all times. Work as part of a team to ensure smooth operations. Assist with any guest inquiries and requests, ensuring satisfaction. Follow all safety protocols and company policies. The Valet Supervisor ensures guest arrivals and departures are pleasant and efficient by serving as the point-of-contact with all valet patrons. Ensures guest service and safety are priorities. Oversee the parking and retrieval of guest vehicles performed by Valet Drivers. Supervises the activities of the Valet Drivers, Valet Greeters and Traffic Officers, as applicable. Ensures that the day-to-day operations of valet and traffic control run in an efficient and well-organized manner. Ensures daily reports and cash deposits are done securely at the site's office. • Responsible for assisting site management and security when required, directing traffic within the site including providing direction to visitors, staff, and others. • Responsible for adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Previous experience in customer service or valet parking is required. Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods. • Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand for long periods. • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Job Type:
Full-Time, M-F (6:00am - 8:00pm) and Saturday/ Sunday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Available to work weekends and holidays.
Pay Rate:
$22.00
