Rate:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour (dependent on experience, qualifications, and VA approval) Position Overview Kaleidoscope Supply Services supports the staffing of this position on behalf of a client company. If selected, you will be employed directly by the client—not Kaleidoscope, the VA, or the federal government. This role supports a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) federal contract. You will work alongside VA teams to help deliver services that support veterans and the VA's mission. About the Role You will manage operations at the facility parking booth or valet reception counter. Key Responsibilities Greet arriving patients, guests, and personnel professionally, issuing parking tickets, claim checks, and accurate facility directions. Document vehicle details, condition, and intake times clearly on tracking slips. Manage the valet key tracking system securely, ensuring all keys are tagged, organized, and accessible only to authorized personnel. Monitor entry and exit points of the parking area to maintain safety, regulate traffic flow, and prevent congestion at the main entrance. Coordinate closely with valet drivers or shuttles to request and retrieve vehicles promptly when visitors exit. Keep the valet booth clean, orderly, and supplied with necessary documentation, communication equipment, and parking slips. Qualifications & Skills Active California Class C Driver's License (to move or relocate vehicles within the lot if required). Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major active violations. Previous experience in parking operations, customer service, front-desk reception, or security routing is preferred. Ability to stand for long intervals and work in an outdoor booth environment exposed to changing weather conditions. As part of the federal approval process, the VA may review resumes and may request interviews. Final placement and start date are contingent upon VA approval.
