End of September 2026 (subject to change) Position Summary Preferred Valet Parking is seeking a reliable, professional, and customer-focused Valet Lead to join our team at Lantern Crest in Santee. The Valet Lead will help oversee daily valet operations, provide exceptional service to residents and guests, and serve as a point of contact for the valet team during assigned shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing outstanding customer service, and is comfortable taking on additional leadership responsibilities. Responsibilities Lead and support valet attendants during assigned shifts. Help ensure smooth and efficient daily valet operations. Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to residents, guests, and visitors. Greet customers, assist with vehicle drop-off and retrieval, and provide excellent customer service. Safely park and retrieve vehicles while following all company safety procedures. Help coordinate the flow of vehicles during busy periods. Monitor the valet area and ensure the location remains clean, organized, and professional. Assist with opening and closing shift responsibilities. Communicate operational needs, customer concerns, and incidents to management. Help train and coach valet attendants on proper procedures and customer service standards. Ensure team members are following company policies, procedures, dress code, and safety expectations. Complete required shift documentation and reports. Address minor operational issues and escalate concerns to management when necessary. Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous valet, hospitality, customer service, or leadership experience preferred. Previous valet experience is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Professional, friendly, and customer-service oriented. Ability to lead by example and work effectively with a team. Reliable and punctual with strong attendance. Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. Ability to safely operate and park a variety of vehicles. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required. Must be comfortable working outdoors and standing/walking for extended periods. Must be available to work Tuesday through Saturday, 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM . Pay:
$19.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 per week

Do you have a valid driver's license? The anticipated start date is toward the end of September. Would you be available to start around that time? Do you have previous valet or parking experience? This is a Valet Lead position. Have you previously supervised, trained, or led a team? As part of the interview process, candidates are required to complete a timed one-mile run in under 8 minutes. Are you comfortable meeting this requirement on the day of the interview?
