Sales Lot Attendant

The Lot Porter helps ensure complete customer satisfaction by maintaining our vehicles and the lot in a highly clean and organized fashion. The Lot Attendant oversees the delivery of vehicles to the dealership, organizes vehicles on delivery or following sales to maximize the use of lot space and keep the lot in order, and services cars to protect against deterioration and maintain a spotless appearance for customers. The ideal candidate has a high energy level, a desire to work in a fast paced environment, and a valid driver's license. He or she must have great communication and customer service skills, strong organizational and problem solving skills, and a positive attitude. Candidates must be able to safely maneuver vehicles in tight and small spaces.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Clean and prep sold vehicles for customers Service vehicles with gas Move sold vehicles to maximize use of space and keep the lot in order Deliver sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department Help maintain lot appearance by cleaning driveway and sidewalks, removing debris as necessary Attend all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required Follow all safety and security procedures Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces Highly professional and dependable Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Current DMV printout and drug testing are required upon hiring. EOE. The Lot Attendant Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $15.50 and $16.00.
