Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Valet/ Bellperson for the Chamberlain West Hollywood, CA Job Purpose The Bellperson/Valet position in Chamberlain, West Hollywood, CA, is a vital role focused on delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience. This role involves greeting guests warmly, assisting with luggage, and providing efficient valet parking services while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. The successful candidate will act as the first and last point of contact for guests, representing the establishment's commitment to hospitality excellence. They will coordinate closely with other hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly and courteously. Ultimately, this position contributes significantly to guest satisfaction and the overall reputation of the property by providing attentive, reliable, and friendly service. Minimum Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to safely operate various types of vehicles, including manual and automatic transmissions. Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality or valet services. Physical ability to lift and carry luggage and stand for extended periods. Strong communication skills in English. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment. Bilingual or multilingual abilities to assist a diverse guest population. Familiarity with the West Hollywood area and local attractions. Certification in customer service or hospitality training programs. Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival and departure, providing assistance with luggage and directions as needed. Operate valet parking services efficiently, ensuring the safe and timely parking and retrieval of guest vehicles. Maintain clear communication with front desk and security teams to coordinate guest arrivals, departures, and special requests. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the valet area and bell stand, including managing equipment and supplies. Assist guests with any additional requests or information about the property and local area to enhance their stay experience. Skills The required skills such as safe vehicle operation and effective communication are essential for managing guest vehicles and providing clear, courteous interactions with guests and team members. Physical stamina and attention to detail ensure that luggage handling and valet services are performed efficiently and safely. Preferred skills like multilingual communication and local area knowledge enhance the ability to serve a diverse clientele and provide personalized guest experiences. Customer service expertise is applied daily to anticipate guest needs and resolve any issues promptly, contributing to overall satisfaction. Additionally, organizational skills help maintain a tidy and professional valet area, supporting smooth operational flow.
