Redwood Waste Solutions, Inc. , a Waste Connections company, has an immediate opening for a Transfer Station Attendant out of their Transfer Station in Albion, CA ! Schedule is Saturday - Wednesday 8AM-4:30PM. Starting pay is $21.00 per hour . Pay range for this job category is $21-$22 per hour , depending on experience.

Responsibilities Include:

Greeting customers as they enter the transfer station, directing them where to go Cash handling Assessing loads/material for payment at the scale house ​ Ensuring all material entering the transfer station is appropriate. Traffic directing to ensure customers park in the correct area at the transfer station Cleaning equipment - sweeping/power washing General site cleanup as needed Friendly customer service

Requirements:

At least 2+ years of work experience, preferably in a customer service type position. The ability to lift up to 75 pounds in this labor intensive position Experience operating equipment is a plus Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift Ability to stand on your feet throughout an 8 to 10 hour shift.
