Job Description

Summary The ideal candidate should have 2-5 years in a pool, beach or food and beverage operation. This individual should be self-motivated and have the ability to demonstrate a friendly and hospitable demeanor in a high pressure, fast paced outdoor environment. Essential Functions Job duties include, although are not limited to: Greet guests immediately with a sincere and friendly welcome. Assist guests with their needs related to the pool area. Respond to guest requests, comments and concerns in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness of general pool area, including emptying used towel bins, organizing pool furniture, collecting towels and neatly arranging the pool towel storage shelves. Confirm guest registration prior to issuing resort property Responsible for monitoring product inventory in order to minimize the loss of resort property. Report all suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc. to security department. Attend all mandatory meetings Provide general public assistance, instruction and/or guidance for guests Keep work area neat and organized Complete all other duties as assigned by supervisor Internal Relationships Reports to the General Manager of Pool & Recreation. External Relationships Has regular contact with Pool guests and members. Qualifications Ability to provide excellent customer service to resort guests. Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time in uncertain conditions. Ability to swim, operate motorized and non-motorized water craft and exhibit control in emergency situations. Education/Experience Requirements High School graduate or equivalent preferred Customer service experience preferred CPR and Basic First Aid certification required. Physical Requirements Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. It requires walking or standing to a significant degree, as well as reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing. In the United States, we are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
