Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Event Parking Attendant and be the friendly face that helps create a smooth and enjoyable experience for event attendees. In this role, you will assist with parking operations, direct vehicle traffic, and provide exceptional customer service during Bethune-Cookman University football games and other special events at Daytona Stadium. This is an event-based independent contractor position, not a full-time or part-time job. Event Parking Attendants play a critical role in maintaining safe and efficient traffic flow while creating a welcoming environment for guests attending some of the area's most exciting events. Pay & Employment Details $20.00 per hour 1099 Independent Contractor position Direct deposit payment Net 30 payment terms (payment is issued within 30 days following the event after approved time records have been received) Additional event opportunities may be available throughout the year Responsibilities Direct vehicles safely and efficiently into designated parking areas Assist with traffic flow before, during, and after events Provide directions and answer questions for event guests Maintain parking lot organization and assist with lot capacity management Ensure cones, barricades, and signage remain properly positioned Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members Follow all event safety procedures and operational instructions Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Must be authorized to work in the United States Reliable transportation to Daytona Stadium Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced event environment Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to work outdoors in Florida heat, humidity, rain, and other weather conditions, including hurricane season conditions when events are held Ability to work shifts of up to 12 hours Dress Code Applicants must provide and wear: Black or khaki shorts or pants White, black, or gray polo shirt Closed-toe shoes Additional event-specific gear may be provided as needed. Hiring Process Selected applicants will be required to complete 1099 contractor paperwork and direct deposit enrollment before being assigned to events.
