Job Description
Job Summary Join our team as a Cruise Parking Lot Attendant and become the friendly face that ensures smooth, safe, and efficient parking experiences for all visitors. In this energetic role, you will facilitate parking lot operations, assist customers with their needs, and maintain a secure environment. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help create a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring parking areas are monitored and well-organized. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop customer service expertise and gain valuable experience in parking management. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with parking procedures Monitor parking lot activity to ensure safety and security for all vehicles and pedestrians Operate standard passenger cars to guide vehicles safely within the lot when needed Conduct regular inspections of the parking area to identify hazards, enforce rules, and prevent theft or vandalism Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving barriers or equipment during lot maintenance or setup Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management to address concerns or conflicts promptly Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parking area, including outdoor work responsibilities in various weather conditions Support parking management activities by recording vehicle entries/exits, managing numeracy tasks related to payments, and ensuring compliance with policies Requirements Valid driver's license with experience operating standard passenger cars confidently Previous outdoor work experience preferred; ability to work in various weather conditions is essential Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently Experience in conflict management to handle customer concerns professionally and calmly Knowledge of parking regulations and general parking management practices is advantageous Join us as a Parking Lot Attendant and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional service while maintaining safety and order in our outdoor spaces.
