Lot Porter -
Pooler, GA Starting Pay:
$19-$20/hour
Position Overview:
J.C. Lewis Ford Pooler is seeking a reliable and motivated Lot Porter to help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of our dealership vehicles. As a Lot Porter, you ll play a key role in creating a positive first impression for our customers by keeping our lot and vehicles in top condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Wash, fuel, and detail vehicles to keep them customer-ready. Organize and maintain the dealership lot for easy vehicle access and a professional appearance. Assist sales and service teams by preparing vehicles for delivery and retrieving cars for test drives. Track and update vehicle inventory information accurately. Monitor lot security, ensuring vehicles are locked and reporting any issues. Perform light facility maintenance tasks such as cleaning and trash removal. Collaborate with team members to support smooth dealership operations.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 19 years old. Valid driver s license with an acceptable driving record. Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and perform manual tasks. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Basic customer service skills and ability to work as part of a team. Reliable, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Outdoor work in all weather conditions. Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting, and vehicle operation. Use of equipment such as pressure washers, vacuums, and basic hand tools.
