Motorcycle License Full Job Description Position Title:
Service Support Lead Essential Duties and Responsibilities Motorcycle Preparation & Care Wash, detail, and prepare motorcycles for customer delivery and showroom floor. Assist with motorcycle movement throughout the dealership and service areas. Inspect motorcycles and report anything that may be a concern (incomplete repairs, loose items, and potential damage caused at dealership, i.e. scratches and dents). Transportation & Logistics Pick up and deliver motorcycles to customers, vendors, auctions, and other dealerships. Safely load, secure, transport, and unload motorcycles using dealership trucks and trailers. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and trailer inspections. Maintain transportation records and delivery schedules as assigned. Maintain professionalism at all times while operating vehicles, fueling vehicles, and during customer interactions. Service Department Support Assist service technicians with non-technical tasks and shop organization. Move motorcycles into and out of service bays. Stage motorcycles for technicians to maximize efficiency. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service department including sweeping and scrubbing floors, etc. Dispose of shop waste and recycling materials according to dealership procedures. Facility Maintenance Perform routine dealership maintenance including: Replacing light bulbs and fixtures. Changing HVAC filters and cleaning coils. Performing basic plumbing repairs and adjustments. Minor painting, repairs, and upkeep. Maintaining grounds, walkways, and parking areas. Identify and report facility issues requiring specialized repair services, and coordinate with vendors when specialized repair services are needed. Perform snow removal (plow parking lots and clear sidewalks) when necessary. Assist with set up and tear down of events (tables, chairs, garbage cans, parking lot signs, etc.). Fleet & Trailer Management Maintain dealership trucks, trailers, and support equipment. Monitor vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, fluid levels, tire condition, and registration compliance. Coordinate routine maintenance and repair scheduling for dealership vehicles and trailers, including tire rotation and tire replacement. Ensure trailers and transportation equipment remain safe and operational. Equipment Maintenance Coordinate maintenance of all shop equipment, including but not limited to air compressors, motorcycle lifts, tire machines and balancers, fork lift, and floor cleaning equipment. Monitor and maintain dealership owned tools and specialty tools. Safety & Compliance Follow all dealership safety policies and operating procedures. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Operate motorcycles, trucks, trailers, and equipment safely and responsibly. Comply with all applicable DOT, state, and dealership transportation requirements. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a motorcycle endorsement. Ability to operate heavyweight motorcycles. Ability to operate trucks and trailers safely. Basic mechanical aptitude and general maintenance skills. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical labor in various weather conditions. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reporting Relationship Reports to the Service Manager.

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
