Key Responsibilities:

Monitor all vehicle entry and exit activity Accept and process payment for truck parking on POS register Observe for safety or security issues and report if needed Assist truck drivers with simple directions or general information Maintain presence inside the guard shack during the shift Identify any suspicious activities or potential hazards. Respond to conflicts or issues that may arise in a calm and professional manner. Maintain cleanliness and organization at your work station Report any incidents or irregularities to management promptly

Qualifications:

Must be reliable, punctual, and alert Able to remain seated for extended hours No prior security experience needed (training provided) Previous roles in transportation, logistics, or customer service a plus—but not required Customer service and cashiering skills are advantageous Requirements Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate situations effectively. Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is highly desirable. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation. Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
