Job Description

Encore service Group is 100% healthcare focused currently serving Michigan and Ohio. We provide non-emergency medical transportation, shuttle services, valet parking, service excellence consulting and coaching, parking/garage management and welcome desk/concierge services. We are currently seeking an Operations Manager for our University of Michigan location. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail oriented, energetic, and compassionate. They should be an outstanding communicator, have strong leadership skills and thrive in a team environment. Valet parking experience is preferred but not required. Candidates for this position must have an updated flu vaccination (2026). Proof of vaccination must be submitted to the University of Michigan Medicine. This is mandated by our client, and we are unable to consider unvaccinated candidates, thank you. Position requirements HS diploma or relevant work experience in parking or hospitality management. Proficiency with Microsoft office products - word, excel, PowerPoint. Ability to manage and lead a team of valets and cashiers MVR, Criminal Background and Drug Screen will be required. Must be able to work outside in inclement weather. All employees must maintain a well kempt and professional appearance. This position will report to the Director of Operations and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Valet Parking Program at Michigan Medicine. The operation is 24/7 and parks hundreds of cars every day out of multiple entrances. Duties and responsibilities Work closely with client/facility management Communicate effectively with both the client and the corporate office in a timely manner Maintain proper staffing levels at all times Ensure customers are receiving timely service Responsible for resolving those guest concerns that are brought to his/her attention by the valet team. Responsible for documenting incident forms and conducting incident investigations as directed by the corporate office. Directly oversee all day-to-day activities associated with opening, managing and closing. Ensures the facility and employees are operating in accordance with company policy Responsible for documenting incident forms and conducting incident investigations as directed by the Director of Operations.
