Job Description
This is a great job for someone who likes cars, enjoys staying busy, and takes pride in leaving things clean and organized. Part time from 2:00 ish to 5-5:30 PM M-F What you'll do: Sweep and clean the shop floors Keep the bathroom and locker room clean and stocked Pick up tools, parts, and garbage around the shop Help clean customer and loaner vehicles Take out garbage and handle other basic cleanup Help make sure the shop is ready for the next morning Lock up the building at the end of the night Occasionally pick up parts or give a customer a ride, depending on age and driving eligibility You don't need to be a mechanic. Basic knowledge of vehicles is helpful, but the biggest things we're looking for are reliability, a good attitude, and someone who isn't afraid to work. You should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, operate basic cleaning equipment, and work independently once you learn the routine. This is a solid opportunity for a college student who wants steady after-school hours, some spending money, and experience working around a busy automotive shop. Stop in at J.M.
