Lot Attendant Department:
Service Reports to: Service Manager Purpose Responsible for assisting the service manager with supporting customers and employees with tasks including scheduling, customer communication, loading equipment, and perform any additional duties assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner all while adhering to safety rules and regulations. Responsibilities Assist with the day-to-day operations of the service department Loading and unloading equipment (Driven and using a forklift) Schedule pick-up and deliveries with customers Call customers with repair estimates Stage equipment for delivery drivers. Help maintain a professional appearance of the grounds including equipment, parking lot, and buildings. Demonstrate a constant commitment to customer service Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers and management Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products and wiliness to learn new systems and processes. Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: Efficiently managing multiple customers and tasks Work independently with little or no supervision, self-motivated Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail Experience operating vehicles, tools, and equipment preferred. Experience with basic computer functions such as email, word and excel. Experience working cooperatively in a team environment Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred Valid drivers license required
